Discover the charm of Little Gem Stripes, a limited edition peloric Phalaenopsis orchid celebrated for its elegant striped petals and rare butterfly-shaped blooms. Standing at approximately 55cm tall and presented in a 12cm nursery pot, this graceful orchid makes a stunning focal point for any interior — from bright windowsills to stylish living spaces.

Each flower is a masterpiece of nature, featuring delicate, finely striped petals and a striking peloric form, where the petals beautifully imitate the lip (labellum) to create a perfectly symmetrical “butterfly wing” effect. The result is a mesmerising floral display that’s as refined as it is rare, making Little Gem Stripes a must-have for collectors and plant lovers alike.

🌿 Care Tips:

  • Pair this orchid with our Happy Plants Medium Self-Watering Pot for effortless watering and healthy, vibrant growth.

  • Support strong foliage and long-lasting blooms by misting with natural neem oil every 2–3 weeks, a simple care step that keeps your plant thriving.

Limited edition – available only in small numbers. Ideal for collectors, enthusiasts, or anyone looking to add a rare and exquisite statement orchid to their indoor collection.

How to look after:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.

  • Watering: Water every 10–14 days. Wait until roots appear silvery, then soak the plastic pot in lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. Allow excess water to drain.

  • Humidity: Average indoor humidity is fine, but occasional misting the air roots in dry rooms can help.

  • Feeding: Use orchid fertilizer during spring and summer for best results.

  • After Blooming: Once the flowers fade, trim the spike just above the second node below the last bloom. This encourages the chance of a side shoot with new flowers.

  • Reblooming Tip: If flowering stalls, try lowering the ambient temperature by around 5°C for 4 weeks to stimulate a new spike.

  • Cleaning: Keep leaves dust-free by gently wiping with a damp cloth.
